History

Organ Engineering was formed in 1968 in Carshalton, Surrey, by Bob Nicholls, Alf Organ, and Dave Organ, later moving to Hailsham. In 1983, Bob Nicholls and works manager Colin King advanced the company into air rifles, recruiting Bill Sanders as sales and marketing manager under the Air Arms trading name. The legal entity Air-Arms Limited was incorporated in 2005 and remains active.¹⁴
