History

Saluc SA was founded in 1923 in Belgium as a chemical industry specializing in tannery products. After 1950, it pivoted to billiard ball production using phenolic resin. Today, it operates under the Aramith trademark from Callenelle, Belgium, as the sole worldwide producer of phenolic resin billiard balls.
