The company gained total control of Austral Bricks in 1950, becoming Australia's dominant brickmaker, and was listed on the ASX in 1962. Major expansion occurred through acquisitions including Bowral Bricks, Bristile Roofing, and GB Masonry in the early 2000s, followed by North American operations with Glen-Gery and Sioux City Brick. The company evolved beyond manufacturing into property development and investment, establishing joint venture property trusts with Goodman Group.
