History
Founded in 1978 by Janie and Jim Cameron in Hayward, Wisconsin, to provide premium coffee to local grocery stores after struggling to find quality beans locally. In 1993, Bill Kirkpatrick acquired the company and expanded it into a state-of-the-art roasterie in Shakopee, Minnesota. It grew through retail partnerships starting in 1982, achieved national availability in 2019, and was acquired that year by Grupo Nutresa while maintaining operations in Shakopee.
