History

Carolina Brewery was founded in 1995 by Robert Poitras in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, inspired by European and California craft beer experiences. It opened a second location and production brewery in Pittsboro in 2007. The brewery has maintained operations for over 30 years, expanding beer distribution regionally while earning medals at competitions like the Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Championships.
