Overview

Christopher Guy is a luxury furniture brand known for blending classic and modern aesthetics in furnishings such as seating, tables, cabinets, beds, mirrors, rugs, and lighting. Positioned in the high-end market, it draws on the founder's international influences to produce pieces characterized by elegance and signature elements like the patented Chris-X leg design.¹²⁸

History

Christopher Guy Harrison, a British designer born in 1960 and raised in Spain and France, founded the brand after forming Harrison & Gil in 1993; it expanded into a full luxury furniture collection and re-launched under the Christopher Guy name in 2005. In 1999, he established a one-million-square-foot workshop in Java, Indonesia, employing 1,400 carvers and finishers. Harrison died in 2020 from lung cancer, after which the brand continued operations with locations including West Hollywood, Singapore, London, and Dubai.²³⁵
