Corona Tools

Overview

Corona Tools manufactures hand tools for lawn and garden, landscaping, irrigation, construction, and agricultural markets. The company targets both professionals and home gardeners with products like pruners and loppers. It maintains a distribution network across the United States and Canada, backed by lifetime warranties on many items.

History

Corona Tools was founded in the late 1920s in Southern California when a schoolteacher designed the AG 5050 orange clipper, known as the 9B Orange Clipper, to harvest citrus without damaging fruit. The tool originated from collaboration with the local citrus community and a blacksmith. The company expanded from citrus tools to broader professional and consumer hand tools. It became part of Venanpri Group, which handles manufacturing and distribution under multiple brands.
