History
Dennerle was founded in 1966 by Ludwig Dennerle as a pet store in Pirmasens, Germany, driven by his interest in fishkeeping and aquatic plants. In 1975, the company built its first fully owned greenhouses in Vinningen, now the headquarters area in Münchweiler an der Rodalb. Since the early 1980s, it has distributed only its own products; a key milestone was the 2008 launch of the nano aquarium product line. In 2017, the plant business formed Dennerle Plants GmbH under the JPS aquatic group.

Manufacturing
