DIANA was founded on October 1, 1890, in Rastatt, Germany, by Jakob Mayer and Josef Grammelspacher as Mayer & Grammelspacher, initially producing iron and metal goods. The DIANA brand name was adopted around 1905, marking its entry into airguns. In 2014, it was acquired by German Sport Guns (GSG) and relocated its factory from Rastatt to Ense.¹³⁶
