Dixon Rye
ActiveOverview
Dixon Rye is an Atlanta-based interior design studio and curated retail destination specializing in heirloom-quality furniture, lighting, textiles, and home objects. The brand combines a full-service design practice with a retail storefront, known for a design philosophy that balances raw and refined aesthetics. The company has gained national recognition, being named one of America's Most Beautiful Home Stores by Architectural Digest and House Beautiful, and has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Veranda.
History
Founded in 2015 by Bradley Hüsemann Odom, Dixon Rye emerged from Odom's background in craftsmanship, rooted in his grandfather's upholstery shop in Mississippi and formalized through design education at the Savannah College of Art and Design. The retail storefront was originally located in the Westside Ironworks building in Atlanta's Design District. In 2025, as the company celebrated its 10-year anniversary, Bradley Odom Interiors rebranded as Studio Dixon Rye and relocated to Buckhead, formalizing the creative partnership with co-principal Peter Hüsemann Odom. The studio now operates with a dual perspective combining Mississippi craftsmanship traditions with European architectural sensibility.

Reputation
Dixon Rye is respected among design professionals and affluent consumers for its commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and thoughtful curation. The brand's recognition by major design publications reflects its influence in the contemporary interior design market.
