History

Doxa was founded in 1889 by Georges Ducommun in Le Locle, Switzerland, initially as 'Georges Ducommun, Fabriques DOXA,' focusing on watch movements and components. In 1997, the Jenny family acquired Doxa, integrating it with their four-generation watchmaking heritage, and headquarters moved to Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, in 2019.
