History

DryBell was founded in 2011 by Zvonko 'Zvonch' Suhodolčan, an electrical engineer and musician who began repairing and building guitar pedals for himself and Croatian musicians in the Zagreb area during the mid-1990s. The company operates as a family business co-owned by Zvonch and his sister-in-law Martina, with family members involved from the outset. In 2021, DryBell marked 10 years with the V-3 edition of its Vibe Machine pedal. The company has recently indicated development of non-vibe effects, signaling expansion beyond its initial focus.¹²⁴
