History

FSP Group was formally registered in April 1993 with initial capital of $5 million. The company expanded significantly through the late 1990s and early 2000s, establishing manufacturing plants in Taoyuan, Taiwan (1998) and China (2000-2001), while obtaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications in 2001. The company was listed on the Taiwan stock exchange in 2002 (stock code 3015) and acquired Protek Power in 2007 to expand into medical power supplies. Between 2002 and 2007, paid-up capital increased from $600 million to over $1 billion as the company invested in multiple manufacturing facilities worldwide.
