History

Fyxation was founded in 2009 by brothers Nick and Ben Ginster in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, beginning with the Session 700 tire designed for urban biking after one brother's experience in Taiwan as a bike component engineer. The company expanded from a home-based parts operation to a manufacturing facility in Milwaukee's Silver City in late 2012, then relocated to the Riverwest neighborhood.
