Gavox
ActiveOverview
Gavox is a Belgian microbrand specializing in high-performance pilot, marine, diver, and motorsport watches designed for professionals and adventurers. Founded in 2011, it supplies timepieces to multiple European air force squadrons, including 14 Belgian squadrons with over 500 pilots using them in flight. The brand offers both mechanical and quartz models inspired by cockpit instruments, featuring functions like chronographs, 24-hour displays, mission timers, and perpetual calendars.
History
Gavox was founded in 2011 by Michael Happé, a Belgian engineer, pilot, and grandson of a Flying Tigers member, in Brussels, Belgium. The first model, the Curtiss, launched in 2012, followed by a series of quartz and mechanical watches. In 2014, it became the official watchmaker for the Belgian Air Force's 15th Wing and 350 Squadron, expanding to 14 squadrons.
