Ginetta Cars Limited is a British specialist manufacturer of racing and sports cars based in Garforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire. It produces hand-built race cars for GT racing championships and driver academies, with a focus on motorsport series and track day vehicles.¹²⁶

History

Ginetta was founded in 1958 by the four Walklett brothers in Woodbridge, Suffolk, initially producing road and race cars. The company relocated multiple times, including to Witham, Essex, Sudbury, Suffolk, and Scunthorpe, before being acquired in 2005 by Lawrence Tomlinson's LNT Automotive and moving to a facility near Leeds in 2007.²⁶ Under Tomlinson, it expanded into GT racing, launching models like the G50 and establishing championships such as Ginetta Junior.²⁴

All cars are hand-built in a 75,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art factory in Garforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Many components are hand-crafted on site by UK engineering talent, with in-house production from prototype to finished vehicle.²
