IndiPRO
ActiveOverview
IndiPRO (Indipro Tools Corp) is a U.S.-based manufacturer of power solutions and accessories for professional cameras and production gear. The company focuses on batteries, chargers, cables, and alternative power systems compatible with major camera brands such as Blackmagic, Canon, Panasonic, and Sony. It serves independent filmmakers, production crews, and broadcast studios that require reliable, production‑grade power for DSLR and professional video cameras.
IndiPRO positions itself as a specialist in camera power rather than a full camera or lens brand, emphasizing compatibility, durability, and competitive pricing. Its products are distributed through a network of authorized resellers and online retailers, giving it a niche but visible presence in the pro video and filmmaking ecosystem.
History
IndiPRO Tools Corp has been active in the professional video accessories market since at least 2010, when it began producing production‑grade DSLR and pro video camera accessories. Over the following decade, the company built a catalog of batteries, chargers, and power accessories tailored to professional filmmakers. Public profiles indicate that IndiPRO has remained an independent, U.S.-based manufacturer without evidence of acquisition or major rebranding. The company has expanded its distribution through authorized dealers in the United States and internationally, including Europe and Latin America.

The company designs its products in the United States and oversees production to meet professional‑grade standards, though some components may be sourced from external suppliers. This in‑house focus allows IndiPRO to maintain tight control over compatibility and reliability for camera‑specific power systems.

Reputation
IndiPRO is generally regarded as a reliable, mid‑tier supplier of camera power solutions, particularly among independent filmmakers and smaller production houses. Enthusiasts and professionals appreciate its broad compatibility with major camera brands and its focus on production‑grade durability at competitive prices. Some users note that IndiPRO products may not match the brand recognition or ecosystem depth of larger camera‑accessory manufacturers, and there are occasional reports of variability in build quality or customer‑support responsiveness. Overall, the brand is seen as a practical choice for power‑focused workflows rather than a premium, flagship‑oriented brand.
