Kross Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roaster and café chain based in Chania, Crete, Greece, operating multiple locations focused on high-quality beans, espresso drinks, pour-overs, and cold drip coffee. The company roasts small lots of coffee from around the world and sources pastries from its own bakery, Black Eyed Kate. It gained international recognition by ranking 15th among the world's best coffee shops.

History

Kross Coffee Works was founded in 2013 by Sotos, who settled in Chania in 2002 and took over a coffee bean franchise in 2005, introducing specialty coffee around 2010. The first café opened in August 2015 next to a historic mosque in Chania's old town. In 2017, the original location converted into an in-house roastery, with café operations scaled back, and the brand expanded to additional sites across Crete.
