Lamplighter Coffee Roasters was founded in 2009 in Richmond, Virginia, by Zach and Noelle Archibald along with roaster Jennifer Rawlings, starting in a converted auto-garage at 116 S Addison St. By 2013, it upgraded from a 10 kilo Probat roaster to a 30 kilo Diedrich roaster and opened a new roastery and cafe space on an industrial block. Plans for a second location as an espresso bar, tasting room, and roasting center were announced around 2012.
