History

LIROS was founded by the Rosenberger family, who have produced ropes from various fibers since 1854; the company is now managed by the fifth generation.⁴ It has developed into a specialist for Hi-Tec yachting ropes, paragliding lines, kitesurf cords, and industrial cordage.¹ LIROS recently introduced bio-based Dyneema, aligning with its sustainability focus.³
