History

Founded in 2018 by Mario Jutronic, a creative professional and horology enthusiast, MARNAUT spent three years developing its first watch series before launching the Dark Surge collection on Kickstarter in August 2018. Jutronic designed the watches in Croatia, drawing inspiration from his youth exploring the Adriatic Sea off the Island of Brac. The brand's name combines Mare (sea) and Nautica, reflecting its maritime heritage focus.

MARNAUT watches are powered by Sellita SW200 Swiss automatic movements and assembled in Germany with professional quality control. The cases are constructed from premium 316L stainless steel with sapphire crystal. Each watch dial displays coordinates of iconic Croatian locations that inspire the designs.
