Overview

L.Leroy is a haute horlogerie watchmaker with roots tracing to 18th-century Paris, now revived as an independent brand under the Festina Group. The brand specializes in exceptionally complex and precise timepieces aimed at collectors and connoisseurs, emphasizing bespoke craftsmanship and technical innovation. L.Leroy is recognized for its historical significance in watchmaking precision and its contemporary commitment to exceptional finishing and design.

History

Founded in Paris in 1785 by Charles Leroy, the company became watchmaker to the French Navy and exhibited at the first Paris World's Fair. The brand held the record for the most complicated watch in the world until 1989, with that timepiece now preserved at the Musée du Temps in Besançon. After a period of dormancy, L.Leroy was acquired in 2004 by Miguel Rodriguez, founder of the Festina Group, and underwent a revival beginning in 2023 with new collections planned for late 2024.
