Nexx
ActiveOverview
NEXX Helmets is a Portuguese manufacturer of motorcycle helmets, specializing in full-face, modular, and adventure models. Established in 2001, it operates as one of the few remaining European brands producing helmets in-house, with products sold in over 60 countries. The company uses thermoplastic and composite materials, tailoring construction to price points, and emphasizes in-house development and testing.
History
NEXX Helmets was founded in 2001 by Helder Loureiro, a former design head at another helmet brand, in Amoreira da Gândara, Portugal, with three investors. It has grown from a startup to a significant player in the European market over 25 years. The brand maintains full in-house production in Portugal and expanded distribution to more than 60 countries.
