Origin USA was founded by Pete Roberts, co-creator of BJJWeekly.com, in 2011 in Farmington, Maine, starting with a focus on BJJ gear made in the US. It grew from a garage operation into multiple manufacturing facilities, including a 170,000-square-foot factory in Asheboro, North Carolina, for denim and clothing, and Maine sites for footwear and Jiu-Jitsu garments. The company is co-owned by Jocko Willink and plans retail outlet expansion.³⁴⁶⁷
