Huber GmbH, which relaunched the brand as a successor company. In the 2000s, Marco Frei assumed management and oversaw a brand relaunch with new product designs and innovations like the Pull & Twist filling mechanism for piston fountain pens. Faber-Castell subsequently acquired the Otto Hutt brand as part of its takeover of Robert E. Huber GmbH, and the Otto Hutt brand was discontinued as an independent product line.
