Pix-Star

Overview

Pix-Star produces WiFi-enabled digital picture frames that receive photos and videos via email, web albums, or apps, targeting families to share content across generations. The frames feature 10-inch and 15-inch models with resolutions of 800x600 and higher, 4GB internal storage expandable via SD card, and free lifetime cloud storage. Notable for inventing the 'connected frame with email address' concept, it emphasizes simplicity for non-tech users while offering advanced connectivity.

History

Pix-Star, operated by Spheris Digital Ltd, invented the connected photo frame with email in 2007 and has developed the product line over subsequent years. It launched its current versions in 10-inch and 15-inch sizes following years of production and reinvestment. The company provides a two-year limited warranty on hardware, effective since 2007 with updates.

Pix-Star is recognized among users for reliable WiFi photo sharing and ease of use for elderly family members, with strengths in free cloud storage and long warranty.
