History

Quinting was founded in 1993 by five Swiss engineers, including three watchmakers, one automotive engineer, and Pascal Berclaz, who serves as CEO and research engineer. After seven years of research and development with an initial investment of $15 million, the company launched its first transparent chronograph in 2000, which was recognized with the prestigious Official Prize of the Revue des Montres in 1999. In 2011, Quinting introduced the Moonlight, a limited edition watch featuring a 360-piece run that uniquely displays moon phases with customer-selectable Earth positioning, marking another world premiere for the brand.

Quinting watches are assembled by hand by skilled watchmakers at the company's manufacture in Geneva, Switzerland.
