Roca was founded in 1917 in Gavà, Barcelona, by brothers Martín, Matías, and José Roca Soler as Compañía Roca Radiadores, initially manufacturing cast iron radiators. The 1990s marked international expansion through subsidiaries and acquisitions, notably Keramik Holding Laufen in 1999; by 2006, it achieved world leadership in the bathroom sector.²⁴
