Overview

Schön Cues is a manufacturer of handcrafted custom pool cues established in 1981, known for precision construction using high-quality materials by master craftsmen. The brand offers six collections of cues and interchangeable shafts, sold through authorized dealers, and positions itself in the premium segment of the billiards market.1248

History

Schön Cues was founded in 1981 by Terry Romine Sr., an avid pool player and perfectionist, and Bob Runde, after Romine began making cues as a hobby in the back room of his bar. By 1985, demand prompted Romine to purchase a larger facility at 38th and Burnham in Milwaukee to expand operations and hire more master craftsmen. Bob Runde retired in 1992, with Evan taking over design and production; the company continued under Romine's leadership until his death in 2013, by which time it employed five full-time master craftsmen.13
