History

ShredLights was founded by Eric Birkemeier over a decade ago, developing rider-focused lighting for electric skateboards and micromobility.²⁴ The company built adoption among thousands of eSkate riders for its modular, rugged designs.² In May 2025, Meepo acquired ShredLights, with the founder joining as Creative Director; Meepo announced it publicly on July 22, 2025.²⁴⁵
