History

SK Hand Tools was founded in 1923 as the Sherman-Klove Company by Mason H. Sherman and Noah Grover Klove, initially specializing in screw machine products. It grew into a major hand tool manufacturer based in Sycamore, Illinois, with additional facilities in China, Taiwan, and Colorado Springs, Colorado. In July 2021, it was acquired by Hangzhou GreatStar Industrial; manufacturing and distribution moved to Williamsport, Pennsylvania in November 2021.
