History
TasteAtlas was founded in 2015 by Croatian journalist Matija Babić and launched publicly in late 2018 after over three years of research and development, starting with about 5,000 dishes in its MVP phase. It received an honorable mention in the 2018 Awwwards. The platform has since expanded its database to include over 12,000 dishes and continues to grow its content and user base.
